Following the issue of HSE guidance (ref.INDG382) entitled ‘Driving at work - Managing work-related road safety' operators should have updated all their relevant documentation and systems to comply with this guidance. This includes their Health & Safety basic statement and full policy document.

The guidance also states that it is ‘best practice' to collect all their road risk policies into one document.
